Google is a company from the US. The information will be saved on servers based in the US. Google lives up to the Safe Harbor principles.

I use social media buttons to make it easier for you to share my content. All these social media services have their own privacy regulations. Most of these social media services use cookies which they will place on your computer when you use their buttons or other services. I don’t process personal data through cookies. I don’t have any influence on how third parties, such as the social media services, will handle and process the data they received.

Marieke Vonk collects and processes no personal information unless provided deliberately by you. Your information will not be shared with any third party, sold or used in any way other than to improve our site and services.
What information do we collect and why?
Marieke Vonk uses Google Analytics (see above) to see, how visitors my our site. I do not receive IP-addresses or other personal information.
Information provided by you
If you contact me, I will save the name and email address used by you. This also applies when you sign up for the newsletter. If you ask for a quotation or become a customer of Marieke Vonk your name and contact information will be saved.
The collected information is only used to contact you, like answering questions or shipping orders. To make sure I can deliver your order I’ll ask for personal information, like your name, address, email address, telephone number and payment details. You only receive my newsletter when you explicitly opted in. When you opt out, your email address will be removed from our database. Personal information will not be made public or provided to third parties.
For the newsletter, I use Mailchimp, which means that during the registration your name and e-mail address will be known there as well. For their privacy policy see here.
Payment
Payment on our webshop is provided by Mollie or PayPal, you can view their privacy policies here (Mollie) and here (PayPal).
Security
The security of your personal information is important to us, therefore I use an SSL certificate to provide you with a more secure connection. But remember, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, I cannot guarantee its absolute security.
