Hi there! My name is Marieke, I’m an abstract artist and collage maker based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. You can often find me like this – scissors in my hand, going through magazines and news papers.

After studying at HKU and Design Academy Eindhoven, I decided to focus on what I love most – working with paper. With a background in graphic design and a love for shape and color, I create abstract images. Research and experiment play a big role in my work. For me, the process is as important as the final work. In my shop you can find my handmade collages and limited edition screen prints.
